The 3 of Pentacles (read Three of Pentacles) depicts, in its classic image, three figures standing in a temple near a pillar. Two of them, looking like monks, are admiring the work of the third person, who is a kind of craftsman. He is standing on a bench, and in his hands he holds the tool of his work that he is currently doing. On the pillar we also see the symbol of three pentagrams inscribed in circles and surrounded by glyphs of the earth decorating it. The whole symbolizes the hidden forces that govern the life of each of us. The Three of Pentacles, on the other hand, indicates some kind of work, or even cooperation between three persons or parties to the questioned matter. It is therefore a kind of commission performed by a craftsman for the benefit of those he judges, so the direct meaning of the card alludes to matters related to earning money and following a career path. The Three of Pentacles is a sign of perfecting one's skills started on the Two of Pentacles, as well as full commitment to one's goals. It is a very good sign if you ask the Tarot about financial matters and always indicates the involvement of a third person. The Three of Pentacles also indicates self-employment, exams and promotions.
